  For Pharmacists:

Pharmacy support is provided for prescription drugs.  GPCF receives the generous donated support of services and products from several major pharmaceutical manufacturers. These drugs are dispensed by a participating pharmacy in the GPCF network at no charge.  Please click on the link below to obtain a copy of the most updated donated pharmaceutical product list:

List of Donated Pharmaceutical Products by Therapeutic Category

The protocol for receiving your product replacements is outlined as follows:

1.    Once a client is determined eligible for services, s/he is required to call the client toll free line for a participating pharmacy referral.

2.     The client is instructed to present his/her scrip card to the referred pharmacy.  Up to a 100-day supply* of any donated medication can be dispensed to a GPCF client.

*Note:  Up to a 90-day supply of all insulin products manufactured by Novo Nordisk may be dispensed.

3.     The participating pharmacy will then submit an electronic claim (via NCPDP format) to the claims processor, Catalyst Rx. A Plan Specification information form, which outlines the details of the program’s parameters and billing information, will be used as a tool for filing electronically.

4.    Catalyst Rx will compile utilization totals monthly in order to generate reports specific to each participating pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturer.

5.   Catalyst Rx will forward these reports to each participating pharmaceutical manufacturer monthly. The manufacturers will in turn utilize these compiled reports for replacing donated medications dispensed by participating pharmacies. In most cases, donated medications dispensed will be replaced product for product within 8 weeks.
