**NEW** Assessment Coordinator
The Assessment Coordinator position for Georgia Cares is responsible for the in-person assessment of youth referred to Georgia Cares for suspicion of DMST/CSEC. Coordinators use the Georgia Cares research based assessment tool to determine the victimization, trauma history, needs, and strengths of each youth. The Coordinator assesses the involvement and trauma history of the youth and confirms victimization. Within the role, the Coordinator makes recommendations for each youth’s care and services to achieve restoration, and ensures that the professional recommendations are individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally competent and will address the youth’s specific needs. **OPEN** Contract Assessor
The Contract Assessment Coordinator for Georgia Cares is responsible for the in-person assessment of youth referred to Georgia Cares to determine confirmation as victims of CSEC/DMST. The Contract Assessment Coordinator assesses the involvement and trauma history of the youth. The Contract Assessment Coordinator is also responsible for interacting with and educating partners on how to make referrals to Georgia Cares, as well as participate in partner meetings as needed to increase collaboration and communication.
